After suffering an ankle injury in just his second training session with his new team, former BVB midfielder Milos Jojic appears ready to rejoin the 1. FC Köln preparations for the new season.
“It is still difficult to say that it’s 100%, but it looks good,” said coach Peter Stöger on Monday. “The plan is for him to resume normal activity with the team at training camp.”
The coach said Jojic likely will begin training again this week, working with the ball.
The EffZeh returns to Austria for their final training camp starting Sunday in Kitzbühel, after a test match with Fortuna Köln on Wednesday and a trip to Poland Saturday for another friendly against GKS Tychy.
